Built in 1991, the modern low rise Atlantic Gardens complex has a total of 105 one and two bedroom single storey terraced bungalows, which are set amidst almost 15,000m² of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura.

All bungalows on the complex come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker, along with a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and a terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include 2 hard surface tennis courts, 2 saunas, a cardiovascular gymnasium, a mini golf course and volleyball court.
