Extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern low rise Bitacora Club complex has a total of 189 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one and two bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 2 floors, and set amidst spacious sub tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 3 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with integrated children's sections, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Bitacora Club Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment, with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows three or four times each week.
