The 2 key Costa Luz Apartments have an enviable position overlooking the seafront promenade and wide sandy beach,
in the quiet Playa de Los Pocillos district, of the otherwise lively resort of Puerto del Carmen, on the southern
east coast of Lanzarote. The apartments are approximately 5km south of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote
International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide
selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1975, the modern low rise Costa Luz complex is a small development of 23 one and two bedroom self catering apartments, which are distributed between 7 three storey buildings, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area. Many of the apartments on the complex are privately owned and individually furnished, and will typically come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with marble work tops, a ceramic hob, refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board, a combined lounge/dining room with satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
