Built in 1985 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern low rise Costa Sal complex has a total of 155 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one and two bedroom self catering apartments, studio flats, bungalows and Suites, all of which are built over 2 floors and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave oven, kettle and toaster, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, Suites at the Costa Sal complex also have a lounge area with a plasma screen television, DVD player and HiFi, and all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 2 large fresh and saltwater swimming pools for adults, with integrated children's sections, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground, as well as two floodlit hard surface tennis courts, a sauna and both pool and table tennis tables.
