THB Flora - Puerto del Carmen

The 3 key rated THB Flora is situated around 800 metres from the beach, in the lively resort of Puerto del Carmen on the southern east coast of Lanzarote.

The apartments are approximately 12km south of the capital Arrecife, 8km from the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1985 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2015, the modern low rise THB Flora has a total of 205 guest rooms, including 174 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 31 studio flats, all of which are built over 3 floors, and set amidst almost 2,000m2 of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with an open plan kitchenette with microwave oven and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, along with a further smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

THB Flora also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
