Built in 1985 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2006, the modern low rise Flora Apartments complex has a total of 205 guest rooms, including 174 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 31 studio flats, which are built over 2 floors, and set amidst almost 2,000m2 of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

All guest rooms come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with microwave oven and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, along with a further smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Flora Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
