Built in 1967 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern Hotel Los Fariones has a total of 242 guest rooms, including 95 standard twin rooms, 25 singles, 116 Junior Suites and a further 6 Senior Suites, which are built over 7 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned a la carte restaurant with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access in selected area of the hotel, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, along with a further smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the sea, which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a hard surface floodlit tennis court, as well as a mini golf course and sauna.

Guests staying at the Hotel Los Fariones are also welcome to use the leisure facilities at the nearby "Sportcenter Fariones", which features a further 5 hard surface tennis, squash and paddle courts, along with a modern fitness and aerobic room with sauna and Jacuzzi, a large outdoor heated swimming pool, and children's play area.

Both the Hotel Los Fariones and "Sportcenter Fariones" also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment, with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
