Built in 1981 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1996, the modern low rise Kontiki Club has a total of 110 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one and two bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 2 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with an integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
