Built in a traditional Canarian style, the modern low rise Altamira complex is a small development of 24 one bedroom self catering apartments and studio flats, which are built over two floors around a central pool area.

Most of the apartments on the complex are privately owned and individually furnished, and will typically come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, two ring electric hob and toaster, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Altamira Apartments are also welcome to use the leisure facilities at the nearby Morro Mar Apartments which includes, a hard surface tennis court, along with a multi-sports activity area for football and volleyball etc, a fitness room and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Morro Mar Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
