Built in 1975, the modern low rise Costa Luz complex is a small development of 23 one and two bedroom self catering apartments, which are distributed between 7 three storey buildings, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

Many of the apartments on the complex are privately owned and individually furnished, and will typically come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with marble work tops, a ceramic hob, refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board, a combined lounge/dining room with satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
