Sports and Sporting ActivitiesAs already briefly mentioned as part of our general introduction pages, the most popular sporting activity in Costa Teguise is without doubt windsurfing. Around the Las Cucharas beach there are a number of windsurfing schools, shops and equipment rental companies that cater for an absolute novice through to the most ardent professional.
Based on the Las Chucharas beach front, The Vibe offers visitors to the resort the opportunity
to experience a variety of adventure sports activities including surfing, kitesurfing, diving
and trekking. The Vibe offer 1, 3 and 5 day surfing packages for beginner and intermediate surfers,
with daily trips (not Sundays) running to the Famara beach for up to 16 pax. Also on offer is an
active social calendar, with their big Wednesday, where all their guests meet from all different
adventure sports, and go for dinner with one of the team where they have the opportunity
to meet lots of other like minded people. Contact details for more information are:
Costa Teguise currently has the only golf course on the island, which is actually built at the base of
a now long extinct volcano. The course was first opened to the public during 1978 to a challenging
design by John Harris. Contact details for more information are:
The Costa Teguise Aquapark, on the outskirts of the resort, is always a popular attraction.
The park is open each day from 10:00am to 6:00 pm and features the usual selection of high speed
slides for teens and adults, along with the slower flumes for younger children.
Admission to the Aquapark costs around 15.75€ for adults and 9.75€ for children, and their contact details

The final sporting activity that is certainly worth a mention here is the Saxo Family Pub and Bowling
Centre, which is upstairs, and almost opposite the Teguise Playa Hotel. Contact details are:
