Part of the Fariones Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel La Perla is situated around 100 metres from the beach,
in the lively resort of Puerto del Carmen on the southern east coast of Lanzarote. The hotel is approximately
12km south of the capital Arrecife, 8km from the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the
commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1986 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern low rise Hotel La Perla has a total of 147 guest rooms, including 113 standard twin rooms, 15 singles and a further 19 Suites, which are built over 3 floors. All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals, and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground, and both pool and table tennis tables. Guests staying at the Hotel La Perla are also welcome to use the leisure facilities at the nearby "Sportcenter Fariones", which features a further 5 hard surface tennis, squash and paddle courts, along with a modern fitness and aerobic room with sauna and Jacuzzi, a large outdoor heated swimming pool, and children's play area. The "Sportcenter Fariones" also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment, with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
