Built in 2002, the modern low rise Hotel Princesa Yaiza has a total of 330 guest rooms, including 31 Double Superior rooms, 234 Suites, 8 Presidential Suites, 2 Royal Suites, along with a further 55 Family Suites with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, all of which are built over 5 floors and set amidst 10,000m2 of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking Atlantic Ocean towards the nearby islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, high speed ADSL internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or a terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, 5 guest rooms at the Hotel Princesa Yaiza have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.
