The hotel is approximately 35km south of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and 1km from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 2004 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2012, the modern low rise Rubimar Suites has a total of 95 guest rooms, offering a seletion of both one and two bedroom self catering apartments, all of which are built over 3 floors in an hexagonal form around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee/tea maker, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television with music channels, a direct dial telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor salt water swimming pool, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Rubimar Suites also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotel's own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and a cardiovascular gymnasium.

The Rubimar Suites also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring small team games, team sports and water-based activities, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
