The 3 key Lanzarote Village Apartments have an enviable front line location, less than 50 metres from the beach
in the quiet Playa de Los Pocillos district, of the otherwise lively resort of Puerto del Carmen, on the southern east
coast of Lanzarote. The apartments are approximately 5km south of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International
Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars,
restaurants and shops. Built in 1990, the modern low rise Lanzarote Village complex has a total of 211 self catering apartments and studio flats, which are built over 3 floors around a large central pool area. All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, along with a hard surface tennis court, a cardiovascular gymnasium and both pool and table tennis tables. The Lanzarote Village Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
