Extensively refurbished during the winter of 2005, the modern low rise Sun Beach complex has a total of 220 one bedroom apartments that are distributed between several 2 storey buildings, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, refrigerator, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and coffee maker, and a combined lounge/dining room with with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, pay to view satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, 14 guest rooms at the Hotel Sun Park have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 4 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, along with a separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a hard surface tennis court, a mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Sun Park also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
