The apartments are approximately 12km south of the capital Arrecife, 8km from the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1984 and extensively refurbished during the winter 2005, the modern low rise Cinco Plazas complex has a total of 232 guest rooms, offering a choice of one, two and three bedroom self catering apartments and a further selection of studio flats, all of which are distributed between 3 two storey buildings, each of which is then set amidst spacious sub tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with microwave oven, refrigerator and toaster, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a number of apartments at the Cinco Plazas have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, a games room, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 3 large outdoor swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's sections, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Cinco Plazas Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

In recognition of the Nordotel Group commitment towards caring for the environment, the Cinco Plazas Apartments have been awarded the internationally renowned certification of ISO 14001:2004 certification awarded for the achievement of the highest standards in environmental management procedures.
